OUR COMMITMENT

We want every child to feel safe, valued, included and able to participate. We remove or reduce barriers wherever reasonably possible and adapt provision in response to each child’s strengths, needs and development. Adjustments may support children with identified SEND or emerging needs and are considered alongside individual SEND Support Plans, Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and professional advice where applicable.

PURPOSE OF THIS PAGE

The document gives families and staff examples of the reasonable adjustments and inclusive approaches that may be used within our setting. It is not an exhaustive or prescriptive list. Support is personalised, reviewed and adapted in partnership with families and relevant professionals.

Education providers have duties relating to SEND and disability. This approach is informed by the Equality Act 2010 and the SEND Code of Practice: 0 to 25 years.
